PSL 11: Azam, Warner power Karachi Kings to five-wicket win against RawalPindiz

Karachi Kings completed a 198-run chase as Azam Khan and David Warner struck rapid half-centuries in the 10th match of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 11 at Lahore's Gaddafi Stadium on Thursday. Set to chase 198, the 2020 champions knocked the winning runs for the loss of five wickets and four balls to spare, courtesy of a crucial 76-run partnership for the third wicket between Azam and Warner. The Kings got off to a contrasting start to their pursuit as they lost right-handed opener Muhammad Waseem in the third over with 27 runs on the board. Pakistan Selects Davis Cup Juniors Team for Kazakhstan Event

Islamabad: The Pakistan Tennis Federation has announced the selection of the national Davis Cup Juniors team for the upcoming international competition in Kazakhstan. The Davis Cup Juniors event is scheduled to take place in Shymkent from May 16th to 24th, 2026. Trials to finalize the squad were held at the PTF Tennis Complex in Islamabad from March 30th to April 2nd. A total of twelve players participated in the selection process, shortlisted based on their recent performances and national rankings. Notably, Abubakar Talha was granted direct selection and exempted from trials in recognition of his outstanding recent performance. Following the trials, the selected squad includes: Abubakar Talha, Hassan Usmani, and Zohaib Afzal Malik. President of the Pakistan Tennis Federation, Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi, along with Secretary General Col. Sahibzada Farhan's brilliant century powered Multan Sultans to a successful 226-run chase against Hyderabad Kingsmen in the eighth match of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 11 at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore, on Wednesday. Set to chase a daunting 226-run target, the 2021 champions knocked the winning runs for the loss of four wickets and eight balls to spare, courtesy of Farhan. The right-handed opener oversaw the Sultans' pursuit with an unbeaten century and top-scored with 106 off just 57 deliveries, studded with eight sixes and seven fours.
