James Neesham’s gutsy fifty after Rachin Ravindra’s brisk went in vain as Australia edged New Zealand by five runs in the high-scoring ICC World Cup 2023 thriller on Saturday.

Australia set a target of 389 runs for New Zealand. Travis Head scored 109 runs off 67 balls, while Josh Inglis contributed 38, Pat Cummins 37, and Mitchell Marsh 36 runs. David Warner added 81 runs, and Glenn Maxwell scored 41 runs in a thrilling match.

Meanwhile, the Netherlands are currently batting against Bangladesh. They won the toss and chose to bat first. The match is taking place at Eden Gardens in Kolkata.

In this World Cup, both Bangladesh and Netherlands have won one match each out of the five they have played so far.

Bangladesh is currently eighth on the points table, while the Netherlands is at the bottom, in tenth place.
