Sri Lanka defeated England by eight wickets in a World Cup match on Thursday.

Earlier, Sri Lanka bowled out the defending champions for just 156.

A combined bowling effort by Sri Lanka, led by Lahiru Kumara’s 3-35 helped them book defending champions England at a meagre 156.

England have won the toss and elected to bat first against Sri Lanka in the 24th match of the ICC World Cup 2023 at M Chinnaswamy Stadium.
