The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is all set to welcome former all-rounder Abdul Razzaq into its selection committee.

Sources close to the PCB have indicated that an official announcement regarding Razzaq’s inclusion is imminent, marking a notable addition to the cricketing body’s leadership team.

Razzaq, renowned for his contributions to Pakistan cricket as a versatile all-rounder, was reportedly approached by Chief Selector Wahab Riaz for a role within the board. Following a meeting with PCB Chairman Mohsin Khan, Razzaq has agreed to take on responsibilities within the committee, aiming to leverage his extensive experience for the betterment of the sport in the country.

The discussions between Razzaq and the PCB leadership, including a constructive session with Chief Operating Officer Salman Naseer, highlighted the broad scope of Razzaq’s upcoming role.

Beyond selection duties, Razzaq is expected to play a pivotal part in guiding and enhancing the performance of the nation’s emerging cricketing talent.
