Pakistan women’s cricket team wicketkeeper-batter Sidra Nawaz has tied the knot with businessman Ghias Khan in a nikah ceremony held in Lahore.

The simple nikah ceremony was attended by close family members and relatives, while the main wedding event is scheduled to take place today at a farmhouse in a private housing society in Lahore.

Sidra Nawaz’s mehndi and mayun ceremonies were also held earlier, with several national women cricketers attending and adding to the celebrations.

Teammates and guests extended their congratulations and best wishes to the couple.

Videos and pictures from the nikkah, mehndi, and mayun events have gone viral on social media, with fans and fellow players sharing congratulatory messages and prayers for the newlyweds.
