The National Selection Committee has started its preliminary consultations ahead of the national T20 team’s upcoming tour of Sri Lanka. Selectors are considering giving young players a chance instead of Big Bash cricketers.

As a result, the selectors are carefully evaluating both experienced players and emerging talent.

All-rounder Shadab Khan is likely to return for the 3 match T20 series.

Abdul Samad and Moaz Sadaqat may get a chance to showcase their talents during the Sri Lanka tour.

The selection committee is also to send initial names to the PCB for the World Cup T20 by January 6.
